Welcome to our Center which is based at Columbia University Irving Medical Center

We are a multidisciplinary group that provides cutting-edge, compassionate care to our patients while pursuing clinical trials and translational research to enhance our understanding and our management of immune system dysfunction in the brain.

 

Our work targets

(1)     Inflammatory diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO), anti-MOG, and other autoimmune diseases of the brain.

(2)     Complications of immunotherapy for cancer and inflammatory diseases

(3)     The role of the immune system in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Fronto-temporal Dementia and  Parkinson’s disease.
